Section 13
Determining the minimum rate
(1) The rural municipality and municipality shall determine the local minimum rate of construction materials, wages, rent and fees for the purpose of construction work and other services within their area.
(2) According to sub-section (1), while determining the wage rate of workers, it shall be set so as not to be less than the national minimum wage determined by the Government of Nepal.
(3) The rate as per sub-section (1) should be fixed fifteen days before the beginning of each financial year.
